through an infant first year of life, and iron-fortified infant formulae as the only
an acceptable alternative in the first year.

one year of age.
For toddlers, build in snacks between meals. With smaller stomach children
needs small frequent feeds more than the standard meals a day. Good snack
choices include fresh fruits, cheese, whole-grain crackers, milk, yogurt, etc.
Water can be offered several times a day so kids get used to drinking when thirsty.
What food to avoid?

Honey should not be given to children less than one year
